What is the Format of MDCAT 2024?

MDCAT 2024 format is very important to understand. It helps to design study schedules and allow effective preparation timelines. All the necessary details about MDCAT 2024  format are given as: 

Necessary Information

  • MDCA 2024 will be a total of 200 marks, and there will be no negative marking
  • Among all the questions, 20% of MCQs are hard, 20% easy, and 60% are moderate.
  • The total time to attempt all the questions will be 3 hours and 30 minutes
  • The test will start at 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 22, 2024. 
  • Students will go to the stations they choose during the registration process. 
  • A printed roll number slip is necessary to bring to the exam station for entrance. 
  • No rechecking request is allowed for MDCAT 2024.

MDCAT Questions Division

  • MDCAT consists of a major portion of questions from Biology, and there is a total of 68 questions. 
  • There will be 54 questions from Chemistry and Physics, and both subjects have the same weightage, which is less than Biology.
  • The English section will have a total of 18 questions.
  • The number of questions for Logical Reasoning is a total of 06

Try to make a parallel schedule for 2 – subjects per day; hence, it will take duration a maximum of 2 and half months to cover the PMDC MDCAT syllabus effectively.
